Tanba, Hyogo

Going to Tanba to see "tanada" "棚田" and "tanbo art" The scale is not that big here, but I just wanted to see how they look like since it is getting popular

My mom makes good breakfast

Driving with my family! 100km (62.5miles) to the destination.

This area is the one of the 100 best terraces in Japan. It was raining, and because of the unusual weather, they had already cultivated the fields...

Tanba's main revenue is farm goods. There are different farms all over this area
Chestnuts

Fig

Quick lunch break @McD.
I had Ebi (shrimp) burger, my mom had an egg double burger, my dad had beacon lettuce burger.

My mom had to stop at her work. Traditional sweet shop.
Seasonal flower display - Nice

While my mom is working, my dad, Momo (dog) and I went to find the Tanbo-art.
We find the first one! after driving and asking around for a while...

Character of this city I think it is Potato or black bean... I am not sure...

akebi we eat them

Edamame and chestnuts. Edamame is sold like that (with stem) when you buy from the farmer

another art

I was too close to he art, but can you tell what this is?

another one with local character (Japanese likes Character/mascot)
kind of hog, because they are famous for the wild hogs also

My dad saw enough of them, so he just waited for me in the car...

Dinner! parking is very very tight in Japan. with this, you can park 3 cars in one spot (car lifts)

inside of the restaurant "Ganko"

Menu - you can see what it looks like - very friendly

My dad's - looks small portion, but most expensive meal of all
