out to the mall!

Sunday! My dad goes sailing every Sunday to harbor between Kobe and Osaka. So, we all drove there, dropped him off at the yacht, then my mom and I went to the biggest mall in west Japan that opened recently.

Brunch. Thanks MOM

Guess what! I brought the spring water from Moore spring in Smoky (Gregory Bald) and brewed coffee! (yes Jerry, this is the water you pumped for me!) Taste... tell you the truth, I couldn't tell the difference...

from the car. entrance of the harbor

Great day for sailing! (He said he sailed aronud Kobe airport this day)

Bye Dad! have a good day!

The biggest mall in West Japan. It is American style mall. 512 stores plus 3 department stores. Mainly, clothing.

Starting from the top. Movie theater

Movies come from England, America and Japan

says, "96 hours"

"Transporter 3" British movie, I think. It is very popular in Japan

"Night Museum 2" :)

some kind of super hero. new kind of rangers... for kids (school will be out in 1 week)

American/Japanese movie called "Hachi" but the name must be different in the US, or not showing??? This story is basted on a dog in Tokyo. If you have gone to Shibuya, there is a Hachi (dog) statue.

"G.I. Joe" I don't remember it...

I saw an exercise place! looks like the Curve, but called "body" or something.
left side of the picture is the place

this is right side of the gym. cooking school by one of TV station. Cooking school is very popular since we eat in most of the time. They were doing promotion and my mom and I signed up for try out special. $5 each and we are gonna come back next week to make curry flavor sausage bread.

Crocs is popular in Japan too... We have accessories which you can snap in the holes to make it unique

of course, we have all kinds of boutiques... but I won't go detail

Here is my favorite part of the mall!
You can see all the restaurants' location and pictures of what they serve on this information screen

Each restaurant has it's sign, too.
There are also fake displays of food, so you can see and know what they serve

This is Hawaiian

お好み焼き osaka famous cabbage pancake!

Healthy, organic food buffet

fried sticks... they fry on the site... almost like melting pot
Kurukuru Sushi - not open yet, but already lined up. this is very popular place
(Natalie and Sarah, you guys went this (bigger one) last year, remember?)

menu - Maguro(Tuna) 2 pieces are about $1.5!
taste and volume, both GREAT.

oriental - it means Chinese, Korean, Vietnam, Thai, etc...

Semi traditional Japanese (affordable traditional Japanese)

Omelet with rice

Japanese Pork cooked in different style.
Fried pork with fruit sauce is the BEST!

Japanese beef cooked in different style. I wanted to eat here! but the one I wanted to eat was sold out when I got there...

Now, downstairs' food court (cheaper food) and sweet stores

Godiva -white chocolate green tea cream. Mmmmm....
