to Osaka

to the American consulate! because of the security reason, I couldn't take a picture of it. It is on this street. near Osaka City Hall (right)

It took only 30 minutes. It used to take a half day... what an improvement !
Since I was in Osaka, I when to shopping. In Osaka, you can see everything from all over the world! Price tags range from penny to $10.000 to 100.000!
Today, I saw new fall collections of all the European and American clothing, purse, shoes and jewelry designers. I can only see them in the magazine in TN. Here, you can actually purchase them... with lots of money! It is great feeling to be able to see, touch and feel the real things. Unfortunately no pictures in the stores...
the highlight was that I saw the shoes that were worn by the Queen Victoria of Switzerland. It was BEAUTIFUL! Dior was fantastic also.

I forgot to eat lunch! I got a coupon for this restaurant when I was walking earlier. In the restaurant, I saw a liqueur I have not seen. I had to try out, but I had to teach them how to make martini. Japanese usually mix hard liqueur with juice or soda, so when I just ask for Vodka and liqueur, they were surprised... It was delicious!

Lunch salad. 10 different vegetables in the salad. There were lotus root, Okra, Soy beans, potherb mustard (checked it with google translator since I didn't know the name in English), sesame seeds, lettuce, pumpkin, carrot, daikon, broccoli. cured ham was great, also. They gave me 3 different dressing to try. all made here.

"Ome-Rice" because it is omelet and rice. Demi-grazed sauce and lobster sauce. SO GOOD!

the meal was ¥880 = about $9. I had $2 off coupon. No tips here in Japan, so it is VERY REASONABLE! drink was $7 :)

Do you know what this is? So cool! made by Dyson

It is a fan! without fans!

3D digital cameras, 3D TV, 2 in 1 washer and dryer, touch open refrigerator, automatic lid open-bottom washing-flushing toilet seat, fan less fan... they are just a few cool electronics here in Japan

today is also temple market day. It is an antique market

they also have food. it's like farmer's market and antique market together
red bean sticky rice

(stone cooked/roasted) sweet potato
cabbage pan cake

(stone cooked/roasted) chestnuts - season!

antique kimono (this is not a good place to buy)

antique furniture

goldfish scooping game - traditional game

This is the only blue and white plate I saw that is decent. but, it has cracks in it.

walked all over for 8 hours. I had to take coffee breaks about 3 times in between. walking in heels for 8 hours are very hard...

This is "Mr. Donuts" out version of Dunkin donuts. I like Japanese one better. not so sweet! I had yellow smoothie. Yellow pepper, mango, and Pineapple in it. I could taste the pepper, but was pretty good.

Home finally. seared bonito, fried dried squid and Kyoto grape sparkling wine

main is fried pork
and my FAVORITE. Japanese grapes
