After the temple, we went to Shigaraki - VERY famous place for pottery
and most famous pottery is the possum. it is for business.
possum is "tanuki" in Japanese. ta=others nuki=knock out. knock out others. That is why it is good luck for business owners
I enjoyed the potteries. I wish I could buy everything!
Going back to home. On the way back, we passed Uji which is famous for tea
tea farm
This is the American Style mall that was just built this year.
HAD TO check it out. It is HUGE. (1000 seats at food court) plus 18 restaurants
