Leaving again...

last day in Japan...
for the first time, I was in later afternoon flight.
My dad and mom took off today so they can take me to the airport.

My last breakfast by my mom

We took time to clean up our house, and finished doing last minute things.

I had a place I really wanted to go before I leave. Even though I was full from weeks of feasts
This is it. Last meal with my family...

Kurukuru-sushi!
It is a cheaper version of sushi, but it's good and FUN!
about $1.25 per plate

I ate like there is no tomorrow... I couldn't have anymore...
Went back home.
My mom cooked this chestnut for me. Took a day...

Time to go.
Momo has been to the airport so many times now.

Last look of my family... :(

bye bye Japan

No major problems... just fixing an arm rest with duct tape.
Duct tape fix everything, right?

some where in between Seattle and Atlanta

We started early so I can do everything before I leave...

Breakfast... a little brown thing is the drinking vinegar... very popular and supposed to be healthy and good for you...

stopped at JA. (Japan Agriculture??? I think)
It's like a coop. All grown locally

Stopped at the sweet shop for tea time today with my grand mother and aunts

Look good, aren't they???

My grand mother's garden. I see leaves which I didn't see 3 weeks ago!

lunch time is our TYPICAL meal - Octopus ball! Home made!

My aunt sliced this for me... it is very difficult to slice like this.

Grave bucket for cleaning and such
My grand mother is going back to work... She is very hard working person... Her garden is organic. no spray or chemicals. She weeds every day twice (mornings and evenings)
to scare birds... :)

Akashi-Kaikyo-bridge is the longest suspended bridge in the world. Also, it is the highest so far in Japan. (now, Tokyo Sky Tree is built and will be the highest building in Japan soon) We reserved to go on the tour!

on the interstate, we saw this. Who is in the bus? must be very important person or bad person...

This is the bridge. It connects main land and Awaji-island

We got there too early. We had brunch at the park
